Checks from FunnelSitter identify themselves with this user agent:

FunnelSitterBot/1.0 (+https://funnelsitter.com/bot)

What it does

It is not a crawler of the open web. It opens a URL someone submitted. The free check loads one page only. It is a quick health check of that page: HTTP status, console errors, broken links, unfinished buttons, load time, and a screenshot. It does not test signup, login, or checkout. Full flow monitoring comes with an account. A monitor, after the site owner proves they control the domain, follows the steps they saved: visit, click, fill, submit, and check the text or URL. It does not solve captchas.

Allow it

Allow requests whose user agent contains FunnelSitterBot. There is no fixed IP to allowlist: checks run from the hosting region of the Vercel project. Blocking that whole region would also block ordinary visitors.

Block it

Reject the user agent at your firewall or edge. A check of a blocked page fails and, for a monitor, that failure is what we report. Do not add a URL you do not want opened. This bot only visits URLs sent to FunnelSitter.
