Your signup form says their real email is invalid
AI-generated signup forms often use a strict email regex that rejects plus addresses, long domain endings and apostrophes. Here's a two-minute test and the simple fix.
AI-built signup forms often check emails with a strict pattern copied from somewhere. It looks fine until a real person types a real address and sees "Please enter a valid email."
The usual victims: plus addresses like name+news@gmail.com, newer domain endings like .studio or .agency, apostrophes like o'brien@company.com, and subdomains like jo@mail.company.co.uk. The person doesn't email you about it. They just leave.
Test it in two minutes: try each of those shapes on your signup form, and on login and password reset too, since they often use a different check.
The fix is to loosen the check. Look for one @ with something on both sides, and let the confirmation email prove the address is real.
