Here's a login bug AI-built apps ship all the time: email addresses get stored exactly as typed.

Someone signs up on their phone as "Anna@Example.com" (the keyboard capitalized it). A week later they log in on a laptop as "anna@example.com" and get "user not found." Or they hit "forgot password," nothing arrives, and they sign up again, so now you have two accounts for one person.

The fix takes five minutes: trim spaces and lowercase the email before you save it, and do the same before every login, reset and lookup. Then check your existing users for duplicates that only differ by case.

Test it right now: sign up with a capital letter in your email, then log in with it all lowercase.
